@media2006

Jeez… what a few days, I apologise for my absense but I have been away at @media2006 in London so have been away from keyboard for a few days. This is the first chance I have had to get internet access and it is just going to be a quickie because I have ordered some food and gotta get back to the pub pretty quick.
Once again @media has not failed to entertain and provide a wonderful experience for us, the weather has been good, the people have been nice and the speaker have been most engaging.
To give you a quick summary of what I have enjoyed so far…
Jeffery Veen was truely inspirational, I had the pleasure (yes it was a pleasure) of listening to Chris Wilson (The man behind IE) tell us all about what is in store for the future. Tanktek didn’t dissapoint with his talk about Microformats, I cannot wait to play with them! WCAG 2.0 is a little bit of a headache that doesn’t look to be going anywhere too fast and I need to go to the loo (too many pints) and then go get my food….
Will be back home tomorrow night and will talk about it properly… and sorry for the short post but things are kinda crazy down here….
Speak to you all very soon… Feeding time!

There I was…idly googling for ‘@media2006 podcasts’ and your site appears as the toppermost of the poppermost. Impressive I’d say…so I thought I should drop a note to say that it was good to meet you Mr. Alan, I agree - Veen was truly inspirational but for now, I’m successfully sidetracked as I hunt the infamous omlette.

Hi Andrew, was also a pleasure to meet yourself and Mark. Hopefully we can make arrangement for future meetups and shenanigans… Good luck with the omelette hunting!

I’ll just sign me name on the dotted line to say; nice meeting you again, although I’m sorry to hear I missed out on ‘the best drum and bass club in the world’ on thursday night! Good luck with your future work!

lol… I wouldn’t say it was the best drum and bass night in the world because my local night would have to take that title!
Cheers for popping in past though, is nice to have you here and I’m sure we will meet again in 2007… if not before!
Man that was freaking me out, I was trying to figure out who you were there for a sec without a face to the name but my brain has recovered and “Cambridge” gave it away… Keep in touch dude

Ha, indeed! Need to put some dodgy mugshot on my site at some point, perhaps. Or not… there’s enough dodgy mugshots on Flickr to ruin me.
