For those of you that don’t know what @media2006 is, here is what the site says…
@media, Europe’s foremost professional web design conference, brings together some of the world’s most highly respected web experts to talk about the latest major happenings, best-practice thinking, and cutting-edge techniques in the world of web design.
I attended last year and have been looking forward to attending this year ever since, it is a prime opportunity to not only learn from the best in the industry but also let your hair down and do some networking… I was concerned that I was not going to raise the cash to go but things have come up trumps and I will now be going.
I just noticed this pic on the site from last year, it is me & Charlie in the lobby…
On another note, this is the last post I will be making until further notice, one of the things that has been causing me problems with my CSS Reboot is that I am now dealing with a content fork. I want to break down the info I am posting and add some new things too but I cannot figure out how to do it whilst I am still posting on the live site.
I guess this is an unfortunate by-product of redesigning a content managed site and I will be sad to not say hello for the next week or so but this is a necessary evil and will hopefully be worth the wait.

Wow! What a stroke of pure genius!
We have invited a new guy on board to write on the Jungle Nation site and it has definitely turned up trumps, he is supposed to be writing about music production but has instead created the Bass Monkey Vocal Cleaner 3000!!
What a total masterpiece it is too, for those of you that don’t know me, I have a pretty gruff voice and even more so when I am on a mic playing at a drum and bass night and this is Nil Munny’s solution…

It is my massive pleasure to announce that I am going to be doing some work with an artist called JZY in the very near future for my reboot project and as an ongoing thing. It looks like there are going to be some fun and games with an online comic and various other things so I thought I would give you a heads up… Part of the cool thing about my domain is the “and co” bit as it opens up the floor for some collaboration (which I am hoping to do a lot more of) and on that front, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you… JZY…

Life just gets better all the time, the personalised desktop that I use called Netvibes has just added tab functionality to the system. For those of you unfamiliar with tabbed functionality it is something that I would not be able to live with during my online activities, for example tabbed browsing in Firefox has both increased my productivity as well as save me time.
How is tabbed functionality going to help me whilst using Netvibes? Netvibes allows you to do a large number of things within a web page environment. I can keep an eye on articles from my favourite websites, I can add webnotes, view my email coming in, check the weather, store my bookmarks and even store files using a 3rd party site. Cool huh?
Although Netvibes is an awesome tool, I have run into the problem where I am beginning to get too much information in one place which can be confusing but now I will be able to group different sets of information to make life easier.
For example, I think I might set up the following tabs:
- Personal
- Bookmarks
- Blogs
- To-do’s
- Files
That will be a start anyway, beyond that I am sure there will be a fair bit of tinckering to make it behave just how I want it. Why don’t you nip over and grab an account. I hope you find it as useful as I do… I’m off to play with my tabs!!!

Caroline said to me a while ago that she would like to have loads of kids and take crazy hormone drugs to make her have multiple babies at the same time. I of course shit myself and didn’t go near her for ages for the fear that it may just happen and she wasn’t joking and trying to wind me up… no way hozay, I love the 2 kids that I have and want to make sure I am on top of things with them before thinking about more…
So where am I going with this? I have just seen possibly the funniest video I have seen in a long time (do I keep saying that?), what’s more, I am not even going to try and get you to click through to see it, it is that funny and contageous you know you just have to watch it.
Now if you have made it this far, does that not just make you want to go and reproduce???
