WordPress 2.0 goes live…

Woo Hoo… WordPress 2 went live as of 22 minutes ago! I am looking forward to getting it installed and taking it for a test drive, I didn’t play with the beta versions because it looked like the release was just around the corner and I was not dissapointed. Looks like the have done an awful lot of work on improving the backend which most of us will never see but it looks like they have added a host of other cool features too.

I just hope that it is going to be nice and easy to plug in what I have been doing with skinning this site so far… Should be, these guys are the pioneers of the 5 minute install…

I’ll keep you posted on my test drive!
