Woo Hoo… Wordpress 2 went live as of 22 minutes ago! I am looking forward to getting it installed and taking it for a test drive, I didn’t play with the beta versions because it looked like the release was just around the corner and I was not dissapointed. Looks like the have done an awful lot of work on improving the backend which most of us will never see but it looks like they have added a host of other cool features too.

I just hope that it is going to be nice and easy to plug in what I have been doing with skinning this site so far… Should be, these guys are the pioneers of the 5 minute install…

I’ll keep you posted on my test drive!

Here I am at the end of a rather exciting couple of weeks and just trying to get the hang of my shiny new Saitek Eclipse Keyboard. The new keyboard is pretty sexy but I have only just plugged it in and the keys have a totally different feel to them but it is nice and I wanted to take it for a spin so hence the post.

I kinda skipped the Merry Christmas post because for one I have been away from my keyboard as much as possible but also two, I have been busy chilling out with the family and decided it could wait until things had calmed down.

Here I am nearing the end of my day hanging out with my baby and have another 10 mins before she is up after a quick nap. I’ve taken a few days off either side of the weekend so I can chill out over the weekend of my momentous 30th Birthday, the perfect opportunity to roll about on the floor for the last 2 days with Elsie and squeeze in a game of poker plus some late night Call of Duty 2. Wicked!!

I’ve made a point of unplugging from the web until now, I have however been nipping in to my dashboard to check on things (sad or what??). I have a couple of posts in the pipeline so stay tuned and I’ll catch you on the flip side once my celebrations are out the way and I have the mother of hangovers…

I love terrible jokes and especially short quick stupid ones and there is no other man in the world that can out quick crap joke someone like my friend Paul. I am just off the phone to him and he was pretty bored offshore so I figured I would let him loose on the world wide web and open up a place for him to run riot with absurdity…

Do you have any crap funny jokes? Please leave them in the comments…

I’ll start you off with one Paul just gave (even if it was a repeat lol)

Q: Whats black and white and eats like a horse?

A: A Zebra!

Crap huh???

There has been a lot of Console Wars over the years and I have kind of been all over the shop with regards to what I have been playing and what platform I have been playing on. At the moment the UK is beginning of it’s first batch of XBOX 360’s and I’m sure that folk are enjoying themselves and to a certain extent I am jealous, I am however looking forward to seeing what Nintendo are bringing to the table.

I just got a heads up on a rather bizzare video game that consists of kicking the crap out of your opponent and then photographing their underwear so their health doesn’t charge back up.

Slightly twisted but amusing nonetheless so I figured I would post it… Cheers for the linkage Wonky…

Check it out at Inverted Castle

I am a big fan of Macaroni pies and have tried loads from different bakers and shops but I think I have found the penultimate incarnation from Margiotta just around the corner from my work. I don’t think I have actually had a Macaroni pie in ages so I tried one yesterday from there and was very impressed, so impressed in fact that I had to go back today and buy 2.

Well another slither of web fun for you, some people obviously have more fun building stuff than me (or are at least more open about their designs lol) so I figured I would share… I’m not sure of the purpose of this but I like it ;-)

This is a test

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur,
