Well what have I been up to?

Well time goes on and life moves at one crazy pace. What have I been up to? Well lots really so I figured I would write a little about it.

First up I have started Ju Jitsu which is pretty cool, it’s a long time since I have done a martial art and Ju Jitsu is at the roots of both Judo and Karate which I have done. Kinda hardcore but am enjoying it lots.

I have also started cycling to work, not all the time but at least I have started to make the effort, I wish I could say the same for my blogging activities. Part of the reason I have been out of action is that I have built a sexy new PC but I have not got any of my old info transferred across so am minus lots of FTP info + usernames & passwords. Not making excuses… well maybe I am but what the heck, this is my blog and I will do what I like!!!

Hehe, I haven’t written for so long I have almost forgotten how to do it, I’ve spent hrs and hrs reading recently as I am trying to get up to scratch with DOM scripting and various other stuff like AJAX. I have been quite quiet at work which has given me the opportunity to get some R&D done and have managed to come up with some pretty cool stuff. Finally managed to get sIFR up and running which I am really happy about and you are going to see appear on the site real soon. Unfortunatly it has some downsites which may infact affect functionality on the likes of a blog but I will cross that bridge when I get to it.

On a gig front I have been quite busy which is fun, I had probably one of the best gigs I have ever had at the start of the month at Jungle Nation with Roni Size. Jungle Nation had not been on for the summer and we came back with an almight BANG!!!! Roni played a 2 hr set which was awesome, the venue was packed and the only word I could use the describe the whole night would be fenzy. How does that sound? Hopefully I will have some pics up on here soon but until then you can check some out here.

The following week I Played at Live Evil with Shy Fx, unfortunatly there issues with the sound but I guess these things happen from time to time so no worries… You can check out some pics here. On a final note on the gig front I managed to hook up with Special Ed from the Pangea crew to get an off the cuff gig at the Red Vodka Club. I really enjoy playing in small venues with a party crowd and this was no exception to the rule… Nice to meet some more heads down here, GT, Professor Fresh and JYZ were all very good hosts so thanks for having me

Well that is a little update, more to come soon… Just had Elsies 1st birthday yesterday party but I will post about that tomorrow hopefully… Man… so much to catch up on!!!
